As we all know we have gathered here for the Republic Day celebration. I am excited and glad to get a chance to say something about our country.
As we are aware, this year we are celebrating 71st republic day of our country. We celebrate republic day on January 26th, the day when the constitution of India came into effect.
I am proud to be a citizen of India which ensures the fundamental rights of every citizen such. as right to equality, freedom, religion, cultural, education, privacy etc.

Republic Day is not just another Indian festival. It is the festival of joy shared between people belonging to every religion, caste, and creed. The entire country is decorated in tri-colors to convey that we belong to different castes, religions, and regions and speak different languages we recognize the fact that we are all one.
Large Military parades from the Indian Navy, Air Force, and Army along with the dance troops representing different traditions of the country, are held at Rajkot, Delhi. The whole event is watched across the World. Also, people who have sacrificed their lives in fighting for the freedom of our country are remembered during the entire ceremony. All the Government officials, Prime Minister of the Nation and Chief Ministers of the respective countries hoist the flag to honor the Nation and those who have sacrificed their lives for the Country.
