We have been using technology so much be it in education or household work that it has become difficult to imagine a world without it. Technological advancement has helped in proliferation of education. Continuous research and development in technology has made education easier, joyful and most importantly accessible. Distance learning is now being offered by many universities and and academic institutions to those who are unable to access formal education in these institutions. How is it possible? It is due to the technology. Today learning is no longer boring and cumbersome for children. Due to introduction of smart classes students have taken interest in learning. Where pen and notebook formed the toolkit for previous generation, today's learners march to class armed with laptops and tablets. This has been possible due to advancement in technology. Online degree programme, opportunity to work with researcher across the globe are all the benefits. Technology has a direct impact on education. Technology has been and will continue to have a significant role in advancement of education
