Social Media; a powerful business tool
Explanation:
Respected ladies and gentlemen, the topic of my speech today is how, 'social media' is not merely an entertainment platform but also a powerful business tool.
Social media has had a lasting impact on the lives of many people. It has led to the existence of many applications such as tik tok,Instagram, Facebook, whats app, etc.
These apps are used to entertain others and for communication as well. It is an example of how borders and boundaries do not matter anymore because we can be anywhere in the world and witness activities of other people as well as communicate with them. Keeping this in mind, it would be fair to say that social media leads to people getting famous. And when people get famous that affects their livelihood as well. For instance, a mere tea maker from Pakistan got much attention on social media, "chai wala". That led to him becoming a social media sensation. This is not just a platform for entertainment but also a place where people mint money. Any business can be promoted with minimum marketing cost by just having friends on social media to promote someones work. Thus, this is a business platform. Where people can do trade, can sell their goods and services, spread word of mouth.

Explanation:
Social media is a worldwide networking platform that serves as a medium for the people to connect and communicate with each other and for the youth to explore the world.
In today's society, there are a number of factors that affect a child's ability to learn. The media, for good and for bad, is the primary factor. Social media is quickly evolving infront of our eyes and it is quite impossible to reject and hide from its impact on the youth and children of today.
Even though social media isn't only used for social interaction, it is an important aspect of adolescents' lives. Social media provides an avenue for them to stay connected with peers, it also helps shy adolescents to have a more non-threatening way to interact with peers as they aren't interacting face to face. It also provides an opportunity for the teens to connect with others who share their interests in art, music, games, and blogs.
Even though mass media is a huge part of a child's learning process and has benefits like the ability to expand their education on the world and the ways of society, more often it offers a poor form of socialisation with no opportunity for physical interaction. With this constant push to learn and use technology and the medium of social media, we are failing to teach children how to behave and function in the real world. Social media negatively affects a child's cognitive and social development as well as childhood development because it limits their ability to understand social cues, to understand conversational tones, and to communicate face to face.
The parents and the teachers need to tell the children the correct use of social media so as to avoid or minimise the contingency of mal-practices that prevail over social media. We as people must collaborate to face and provide a solution to this problem.
