Respected Principal, Teachers and Dear Students!
As we all know that cleanliness is one of the major concerns of the government from few years and therefore, today, our NGO has organized this assembly in this college to acknowledge people about the importance of cleanliness in our lives. Our aim is to make people aware of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and make India a clean and healthy country.
This campaign was launched on 2nd October, 2014 at Rajghat by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this campaign is not only limited to cleaning the surroundings where we do live but also cleaning the air around us by planting plants and trees, cleaning and maintaining our rivers, removing open defecation system with toilets at home etc.
Removal of dirt in surroundings will also ensure the removal of deceases too. Cleaning the country is a step towards our development. Its benefits are not restricted to the removal of deceases but also it will help in the climate change as we will plant more and more trees. It’s more about saving our mother earth and the nature she has which is getting worst day by day due to our non-eco-friendly activities.
Let’s take pledge to clean our country and make India a clean and a decease free country because “Swachh Bharat Sashakt Bharat”.
