Answer:
Good morning everyone and welcome once again to our speech event. Today's speech topic will be "Justice is never the same for all".
In our world, we are all regulated by the laws that keep us safe and also keep us limited in our freedom. These laws are what makes us a civilized society, and it allows for safety for all.
But once a crime is committed, there are higher chances of getting the culprits brought to justice. Now, what do we mean by justice and how exactly can one assume that justice is served to both the culprits and the victims?
Not everyone can have the same meaning for justice. Justice for a victim will mean getting the perpetrators caught and punished while justice, for the accused, justice can mean getting pardoned or even acquittal from the case. In both cases, justice means being given what they most seek, which is quite the contrary for each party.
Similarly, what we think is right for us may not be the preferred choice for others. We all have our own perspectives of what comprises right or justice for our own interests, but not according to the overall happiness of the majority. As humans, we all differ in wants and preferences, and opinions of things. So, getting a verdict that pleases everyone is a hard thing in our society. Every decision will have repercussions for at least one party, which is why justice can and will never be the same for everyone.
