India is world’s the biggest democracy. It is also the seventh biggest country. India is a unique land due to its diversified culture. All the world looks with awe upon India. People don’t understand, that how people who speak different tongues and celebrate different cultures live in the same country. We have research students coming from far and wide to learn about our cultures, customs, traditions, values. Yes we are proud to say, that we are varied in culture, religion, language, festivals etc, but when we stand, we stand united. This shows that behind our diversity there is unity. Our constitution is such, that there is justice for one and all, and not for people of a particular creed. Inspite of having so many religions, we all are spiritual in our own way. We believe that all religions speak the same thing and teaches us to be good to one and all. It is we who differentiate ourselves and bisect ourselves into compartments of various religions. Our culture goes back to thousands of years. We are very proud of it. We try to uphold it whenever and wherever possible. Our land is filled with festivals. Due to our diverse culture India celebrates Bihu, Makarsankranti, Holi, Diwali, Id , Pongal, Christmas, Guruparv, Baisakhi, Durga Puja etc, the names are unending. Where ever, there are Indians, you will find people celebrating these festivals together with much pomp and pleasure. Holy books like the Bhagvad Gita, the Quran, the Bible, the Guru Granth Sahib have showed us a true way of life and how to stay together. We can proudly say that, we Indians are a role model to people world over.
