It depends on the child age as if a child is too small to stay alone the mother should take home or a one whom you trust should stay at home with the child leaving the child alone with the maid is not as safe as leaving the child with a near ones. if you are child is that big that he or she can stay home alone the mothers should can do whatever they want but according to me until and unless the child is above 11 he or she should not be left at home alone more than an hour
