Hey friend,
We know the formula of Kinetic energy = 1/2 mv^2
So,
If the speed of the body is doubled, It's kinetic energy will now FOUR TIMES from the original kinetic energy.

Kinetic energy = 1/2mv^2
If you doubled the velocity Then ,
Let the new kinetic energy be K1 = 1/2m(2v)^2
=>> 1/2×m×4v^2
Kinetic energy will be 4 times the Original ones.
