On'a cloudy day, the measure of water vapor in the air is considerably higher than on a dry day. Accordingly, the thickness of dry air ends up clearly lesser. Since the speed of sound is conversely relative to the square root of the thickness, sound travels speedier on a cloudy day than on a dry day.so, the speed of sound increases.
