Sperms have a tail, whereas egg do not. Why so?

A sperm loose its tail leaving the head inside the egg . fertilization occur when the genetic material from the egg and sperm combine . as fertilized egg known as zygote. continue travel from the fallopian tubes it starts dividing from embryo .

sperm have to penetrate towrds the egg thats why it have a tail...but egg do not do soo..thatz y it dont require tail..
