Spirogyra differs by having plastid in it.
Reason :
Spirogyra belongs to the group of Algae. And algae falls under the kingdom of plants. We all know that plants can make their own food.
Similarly, algae are autotrophic and hence can prepare their food. Plastids are found in those plants or organisms that are capable of manufacturing food. It is because the important pigment that is required to make food named chlorophyll is found in chlorplast (plastid).
So, spirogyra possesses plastids being an autotroph. However, paramoecium is not an autorophic organism and therefore lacks plastids.
