sponges have holes all over the body when passed through a seive they segregate themselves.What can you conclude from the above regarding their body design?Which group do they belong and what is the significance of holes to these animals?also state how they protect themselves

From the above observations we concluded that they are the organisms with holes and pores. they are either assemytrical or show radial symmetry.They belong to porifera and there body is perforated with numerous pores the ostia that opens into a canal system . the canal system helps in circulating water throughout the body to bring food, oxygen and water.
