Sena age was the period of the Hindu dynasty. During this time Buddhism declined because,

a) During this time the Buddist monks were losing control over the land and Brahmins were becoming more powerful.

b) They were also losing control over land revenue.

c) The Social structure was rapidly changing.

d) Even the king was Hindu and therefore favored Hinduism.

e) Buddhism almost became extinct in India after the arrival of Islam in the late 12th century.

Hope it helps you!
