Answer:

)The author says that we should not begin our story with unimaginative sentences like, “It was a day in March”. Yes. I agree with him.

)freelance who works as a typewriter in Manhattan. She offers to redo the menus for a nearby restaurant named 'Schulenberg' in return for three meals a day.

)Sarah had to provide typewritten menus for the restaurant, as often as they were needed. In return she would get three means in her room.

)Sarah like the spring season. She thought of that if this flowers were there in my garden everyday i would plough one and show it to my friends. They would be very happy because no one have garden or frontyard in their houses

)Walter was old farmer Franklin's son. He was the lover of Sarah. Sarah loved him and they planned to marry in the spring.

)Walter tried to search her with the help of police and he had written letters to her also but his letters had failed to reach her. Walter also went to meet her at the old address but she had already moved to a new place from there. In this way both lost touch with each other.

)Walter visited the city in search of Sarah. He came to home restaurant and saw the type writer bill. Based on the position of the character, he identified that it was the work of Sarah. Therefore, Walters inquired about her address from the proprietor and visited her place.

)O. Henry is known for his "twist endings," and the ending of "The Gift of the Magi" is probably the most famous of them all. At the end of the story Della cuts and sells her hair to buy Jim a chain for his watch, and Jim sells his watch to buy Della combs for her hair. Here we have a classic case of irony.
