The simple squamous epithelial cells are thin and flat forming a delicate lining.
Example : Transportation of substances in lung albeoli occurs with the help of selectively permeable surface which is the simple squamous epithelium.
The parts where absorption and desorption occurs there tall epithelial cell are present.
Example : In the inner lining of intestine.
