The Square root of 126 = \sqrt[2]{36.008} = 6.00066662963

The steps to round off the number to 2 places of the decimal is as follows:

  • At first count out the two decimal places and then look at the third place.
  • Here, the 2 decimal places are =  6.00 and in the third-place, we have = 0
  • Since 0 is not greater than 5 so don't round up in the second place.
  • Thus after truncating the expansion at two decimal places, the square root of 36.008 up to two decimal place is = 6.00
