If one approaches a plane mirror at the speed of 15cm/s than his image will be approaching him at speed of 30cm/s. It is because the speed of image will be 15cm/s in the opposite direction and hence the relative speed of image with respect to the object will be (15-(-15))cm/s = 15+15 = 30cm/s.
