- We defined body mechanics as ways in which the body moves and maintains balances while making the most efficient use of all its parts. We are going to get into the first of the four main areas of body mechanics:Posture
- Postures is simply the ways your head, torso, arms and legs are aligned. They should be quite a few things to keep in mind to achieve and maintain good posture. They are easy to do.
- Keep your feet about shoulder width apart. Bear your weight primarily on the bails of your feet.
- Keeps your knees soft ever so slighty bent. Do not lock your knees. Gently pull your stomach into support your spine.
- You should be able to breath easily, allowing your lungs and your diaphagam to expand and contract effortlessly.
- Start at your feet and work your way upto your head into a posture. It will become a habit that you'll want to keep!
