Stand on a bathroom scale and read your weight.
When you lift one foot up so that you're standing on
one foot, does the reading change? Does a scale

It actually reads the force.

When u are standing with both the feet there is balanced distribution of weight btw the legs but when it's on one foot all the weight is concentrated on it thus more weight.

It's actually the gravitational pull and the upward force given by the earth
