standing on the platform , when you watch a train, whereas when you are moving and you are stationary. from inside of the train it appears that the trees near the track are moving. explain the reason for the above statement.

The trees appear to be in moving opposite direction while travelling in a train because the position of trees is changing with respect to us. Whereas, our co-passenger in a train seem to be at stationary position because their position is not changing with respect to us.
