staring from rest, a body of mass 100 kg attains a velocity of 40m/s in 10s. find the force acting on the body.

GIVEN ,

u = 0

m =100kg

v =40 m/s

t =10 s


we know v = u +at


therefore ,   40 =0 +a *10


=a =4 m/s^2

therefore  force , F = ma  = 100 * 4 = 400 kg
