Sambad Kaumudi was a newspaper introduced by Raja Ram Mohan Roy.

It was a Bengali paper which was published on a weekly basis.  

It was published from the city of Kolkata in the first couple of decade of the 19th century.

This newspaper was aimed to abolish many customs, name Sati.
