GIVEN:-

For the case 1 ( from stationary to 6m/s in 30sec)

Initial velocity (u) = 0m/s ( stationary)

Final velocity (v) = 6m/s

Time (t) = 30sec

Acceleration = v-u/t

====> 6 -0/30

====> 6/30

====> 1/5 m/sec² or 0.2 m/sec²

For the case 2 ( from 6m/s to 4m/s in 5sec)

Initial velocity (u) = 6m/s

Final velocity (v) = 4m/s

Time (t) = 5 sec

Acceleration = v-u/t

====> 4-6/5

====> -2/5

====> -2/5 m/sec² or -0.4 m/sec²
