Answer:IN FIRST CASE a= 1/5 m/s^2 or 0.2 m/s^2
in second case a= -2/5 m/s^2 or -0.4 m/s^4
Explanation:
IN FIRST CASE
u= 0m/s (as the body starts from rest)
v=6m/s
a=v-u/t
v-u=6-0=6m/s
t=30s
....a= 6/30=1/5 m/s^2
IN SECOND CASE
u= 6m/s(as the body is slowing down from the final velocity of previous case)
v=4m/s
a=v-u/t
v-u=4-6= -2m/s
t= 5s
a= -2/5 m/s^2
