the postmaster was of very rude and short tempered nature. he even called Ali a pest too as he was undisturbed by the coming of Ali again and again. but when he felt the pain and separation he too felt the grief of Ali. he was eagered to get a letter from his daughter and know her well being. while searching letters he found the letter for Ali from his daughter. in this way. the postmaster attitude was changed and he felt pitty for his sins.
