initial velocityis 0

final velocity is 6m /s

acceleration =final velocity-initial velocity/time taken

acceleration=6_0/30

=6/30

=0.2m/s^2

GIVEN:

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 0
  • Final velocity (v) = 6 m/s
  • Time taken (t) = 30 seconds

TO FIND:

  • What is the acceleration of the bicycle ?

SOLUTION:

Let the acceleration of the bicycle be 'a' m/

We know that the formula for finding the acceleration of the bicycle is:-

\bf{\star \: Acceleration = \dfrac{Final \: Velocity - Initial \: Velocity}{Time \: taken} \: \star}

According to question:-

On putting the values in the formula, we get

\rm{\longmapsto a = \dfrac{6 - 0}{30}}

\rm{\longmapsto a = \cancel\dfrac{6}{30}}

\bf{\longmapsto \star \: a = 0.2 \: m/s^2 \: \star}

Hence, the acceleration of the bicycle is 0.2 m/ ❞
