Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

Velocity after 40 m = 4 m/s

● Explanation -

Let a be uniform acceleration of the body.

After travelling 10 m,

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

2^2 = 0^2 + 2×a×10

4 = 20a

a = 4/20

a = 0.2 m/s^2

After travelling 40 m,

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

v^2 = 0^2 + 2×0.2×40

v^2 = 16

v = 4 m/s

Therefore, velocity of the body after travelling 40 m is 4 m/s.

Best luck...
