now she paddles to attain a speed of 5ms.
then by v=u+at
5=0+a(25)
a=5/25
a=1/5
a=0.2 m/s2. (first case)
now brakes are applied so v becomes 4 m/s
so 4=5+a(5)
a=-1/5
a=-0.2m/s2
As its acceleration or braking acceleration is negative
