Hi Friend.
Similarities b/w aerobic or anaerobic respiration.
AEROBIC RESPIRATION .
1)In aerobic respiration ,energy is produced by the breakdown of food(like glucose)
2) Aerobic respiration takes place in the cells of the organism .
ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION
1)In anaerobic respiration also energy is produced by the breakdown of food.
2) Anaerobic respiration also takes place in the cells of the organism.
Hope it is helpful..

Similarities between aerobic and anaerobic respiration :-
(1) Both aerobic and anaerobic respirations takes place in all cells or both are seen in all multicellular and unicellular organisms.
(2) ATP is released in both types of respirations.
(3) First stage of both respirations (Glycolysis) is common.
(4) Respiratory substrates are same, commonly glucose, fatty acids and amino acids.
