State a reason why animals are able to maintain their body temperature in environment

Well every animal is not able to maintain its body temperature .There  are  adaptions which animal adapts Like BIRDS AND MAMMALS  ,these are warm blooded animals of the animal kingdom they have an ability to maintain constant internal environment (homeostasis).

While the rest except these two in animal kingdom are cold blooded animals which cant maintain homeostasis of there body Like in very cold weather there body becomes very cold and vice -versa.

all mammals are capable of maintaining a constant body temperature despite changes in the external temperature.this is due to the process of homeostasis.homeostasis is the maintenance of a constant internal environment of the body.behavioural and physiological responses are the two important regulating mechanisms that maintain the stability of homeostasis.
