●_●An important use of decomposition reaction is digestion of food in our body. It is because the carbohydrates and proteins in the food we eat decompose to simpler sugars like glucose and amino acids, respectively. These further break down to provide us energy to do work. One other major application of the decomposition is the extraction of metals from its ore. Like obtaining zinc from calamine and Sodium from sodium from sodium chloride. In addition we can add some more points such as :-1)Manufacture of cement or calcium oxide2) Extraction of metals from its oxides,chloride etc3) The relief from acid indigation4) Thermite welding.
