LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM
law of conservation of linear momentum states ,that if no external force acts on the system then initial momentum of the system is equal to the final momentum i.e total linear momentum is being conserved.
proof:-
we know by newton's second law of motion,
F=dP/dT
LET, two bodies with masses m₁ and m₂,moving with velocity u₁ and u₂ and momentum as p₁, after collision they moves with v₁ and v₂ with momentum as p₂.
F=p₂-p₁/t
F=0, AS no external force acts,
p₂-p₁/t=0
p₂-p₁=0
p₁=p₂
initial momentum= final momentum .

Answer:
Deduce this law from Newton's second law of motion. Law of conservation of momentum. ... Hence, in the absence of an external force, the total momentum of a group of objects remains unchanged or conserved during the collision. This is the law of conservation of momentum.
