Bernoulli's Theory:  An increase in the speed of a fluid is accompanied by a decrease in the potential energy, that is, there is a decrease in the pressure of the liquid.
Explanation: This theory is based on the principle of conservation of energy.
Application: Baseball and Aeroplane

Bernoulli's Theorem states that " When ever there is increase in the speed of the liquid, there is decrease in the pressure of the fluid that is decrease in potential energy of fluid".

Applications:
1) Architecture of Air flight wings

The top of airplane wing is little curved and the bottom part of plane is completely flat.As air travels on both the part of the wings, the pressure of air on top wing decreases and at bottom  part pressure increases . This difference in pressure results in lift that helps plane in flying.

2)Sailing :

All types of Sail boats have two parts. One sail always pointing towards north direction and called as keel  in opposite direction of the sail.when air moves with greater speed on the sail, the pressure difference in both the parts gives a lift and thus propels the sail to move in water.
