Answer:

In 1831, Michael Faraday, an English physicist gave one of the most basic laws of electromagnetism called Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.

Explanation:

According to Faraday's law of E.M.I. a change magnetic flux linked to a coil produces current in the coil.

This current lasts untill the flux linked is kept on changing.

There are two laws.First law will say about the induction of emf in a conductor and Second law will quantify the emf produced in a conductor.

FIRST LAW:

Whenever a conductor is placed in a varying magnetic field emf will induce in the conductor, the emf induced is named as induced emf and the current flowing through that conductor is induced current.

SECOND LAW:

Induced emf is equal to rate of change of flux linked to the conductor.
