State any two reforms to make Indian democracy more effective

Democracy is the process of government representation of the large group by few individuals who are elected or nominated to represent the larger population and hence the need to elect very competent leaders to have their views and normal way of life directed in a better direction.

There are two major reforms which took place in Indian Democracy

These includes

  1. Political Freedom

The Indian made some reforms on their democracy system of the government to include the freedom given to the political parties to merge and form a coalition in an event they deemed fit to do so.

The merging of the political parties leads to unity and equal representation of different regions and more so the marginalized ones

2. Equal Gender representation

The Indian democracy promoted the act in which there is an equal representation of  both genders .

This has promoted equality and hence full representation of both genders.

This as led to peace and harmony and hence fostering the development progress in a country
