ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE STATES THAT IT IS THE BUOYANT FORCE  THAT IS EXERTED ON A BODY IMMERSED  IN A FLUID IS EQUAL TO THE WEIGHT OF THE FLUID THAT THE BODY DISPLACES.
