first the food travels to the stomach through oesophagus, then the acid(hydrocloric acid) in the stomach kills any harmful bacteria present in food, as well as crushes the food into smaller parts, then in between the pipeline, the liver releases bile juice and pancreatic juices also get released from the pancreas, these chemicals make these parts in the form of a paste this paste now goes through the small and large intestines, the small intestines have hair like structures inside its surface so these structures suck the protiens in the food and supply the solid remains to the rectum, in rectum faeces are formed and finally the faeces are thrown out from the body by the anus.
