1) acid are sour in taste while base is bitter in taste.
2) acid are corrosive in nature whereas base is soapy in nature.
3) the man difference is that acid are proton donors or electron pairs acceptor whereas base is proton acceptor or electron pair donors.
4) acid turn blue litmus paper into red whereas base they turn red litmus paper into blue.
5) acid have pH less than 7 while base pH greater than 7.
