In 1817 a German scientist Dobereiner suggested that properties of elements are related to their atomic masses. He made group three elements each , having similar chemical properties and called them triads.

He showed that atomic mass of the middle element was approximately equal to the mean of the atomic masses of other two elements.

Examples :- Li , Na , K

Ca , Sr , Ba

Cl , Br , I

Hope it works !!!!

Answer:

DOBEREINER'S LAW STATES THAT "WHEN THE THREE ELEMENTS IN TRAID WERE ARRANGED IN THE ORDER OF INCREASING ATOMIC MASSES , THE ATOMIC MASS OF THE MIDDLE ELEMENT WAS ROUTGHLY EQUALS TO THE ATOMIC MASSES OF THE OTHER TWO ELEMENTS.

eg :- Li , Na , K
