Fleming's Left Hand Rule. It is found that whenever an current carrying conductor is placed inside a magnetic field, a force acts on the conductor, in a direction perpendicular to both the directions of the current and the magnetic field.

Fleming's left hand rule : Stretch the thumb , forefinger , and middle finger of ur left hand in such a way that they are mutually perpendicular . If the first finger points in the direction of magnetic field and the second finger points in the direction of current , then the thumb will point in the direction of motion or force acting on the conductor.
hope it helps u
