Fleming’s Right-Hand Thumb Rule:  A convenient way of finding the direction of magnetic field associated with a current-carrying conductor. Imagine that you are holding a current-carrying straight conductor in your right hand such that the thumb points towards the direction of current. Then your fingers curl around the conductor in the direction of the field lines of the magnetic field, all the fingers should be perpendicular to each other. This is known as the right-hand thumb rule.

ferrysubi: In an experiment with a rectangular glass slab a student observed that a ray of light incident at an angle of 55° with the normal on one face of the slab , after refraction strikes the opposite face of the slab before emerging out into air making an angle of 40° with the normal . Draw a labled diagram to show the path of the light ray . What value-you assign to the angle of refraction and angle of emergence

\large\underline{Fleming \:Right \:Hand\: Rule:-}

✔️According to this rule, stretch the thumb, forefinger and middle finger of your right hand such that they are perpendicular to each other.

✔️If the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field and the thumb will point in the direction of motion of the conductor, then the middle finger will show the direction of induced current.

Hope it helps you!!
