2. Needed of gametes of two parents ( sex cell ) .

3. The fusion of sperm and ovum occurs due to fertilisation .

4. They give birth to young ones of their own kind to maintain and continue their species .

Asexual reproduction:

1. Only one individual produces offspring that are genetically identical to itself .

2. No need of gametes (sex cell).

3. Fragmentation, sporulation , budding occurs in asexual reproduction .
