✔️✔️Hookes law states that :-

⭕️For small deformations, stress and strain are proportional to each other.

⭕️That is, Stress α strain

⭕️stress = k × strain

⭕️Where, k is the proportionality constant, and is known as the modulus of elasticity.

✔️✔️Here modulus of elasticity means:-

⭕️Modulus of Elasticity is defined as the ratio of stress exerted on a body to strainexperienced by it.

⭕️It indicates how easily a body can be deformed by the action of forces upon it.

⭕️If a wire of length L and radius r be loaded by a weight Mg and if l is the extension produced:-

➖normal stress =Mgπr2---------------(1)

➖ Longitudinal strain=lL-----------------(2)

Hooke's law of elasticity states that , for relatively small deformations of an object, the displacement or size of the deformation is directly proportional to the deforming force or load.

The suitable equation for This Law will be..

Fs = -kx, where K is a constant factor
