it states that every object in this universe attracts every other object with a force that is directly proportional to the product of the masses and inversly proportional to the square of the distance between them.

F is proportional to m1m2/r square

F=G m1m2/r square

where G is the gravitational constant

 <b><i><u>Heya dear❤
Question :-
What's universal law of gravitation?

Answer :-
Everybody in the universe attract every other body without food which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Mathematically,
(I). the force between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses.

= F proportional m1 × m2 (.....1)

(ii) the force between two bodies is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

= F proportional 1/r² (......2)

Combining (1) and (2)

we get :- F proportional m1 × m2 / r²

Gravitational force,
F = G × [m1 × m2] ÷ r²

Here G known as universal gravitational constant. it does not depend on any of the physical quantities in the formula.
It's value is fixed i.e. 6.67 × 10^-11 Nm²/kg².

Hope it helps ✔
