Gymnosperms comes under plantae kingdom.
1. These are the plants which bear naked seeds.
2. They are perennial, woody and evergreen.
3. They don't have cotyledon
4.Examples - Pinus, Cycas, Thuja.
Angiosperms also come under the Plantae kingdom.
1. These are the plants in which seeds are enclosed in fruits.
2. They are flowering plants.
3. Examples - pea, gram, mustard (dicots)
4. They have cotyledons
ex - Wheat, maize (monocots)
Note - Monocots means embryo of seed bearing one cotyledon.
and Dicots means embryo of seed bearing two cotyledon.
