Pascal's law was that if any pressure is applied to a fluid inside a closed system, then it will transmit that pressure equally in all the directions throughout the fluid.

This law may be explained with an example of how pascals law  is sometimes used in hydraulic power in heavy construction machines.

An experiment of Pascals law would be:-

Let us understand the working principle of Pascal’s law with an example.

For instance in a situation A pressure of 2000 Pa is transmitted throughout a liquid column. this is done due a force being applied on a piston. So if that  piston consists of an area of 0.1 m2, what force should be applied to it?

The answer will need us to define the terms first :-

F = PA,

Next we determine that;

F =force applied

P=pressure transmitted

A = cross sectional area

Here,

P = 2000 Pa = N/m2

A = 0.1 m2

Substituting values, we arrive at F = 200 N

The works of this answer is based on the principle of equal pressure transmission throughout a fluid (Pascal’s Law).
