physical change :-

Change is a temporary change in which the composition and chemical nature of the substance remains the same but the state of the substance and physical properties change.

  • Freezing of water.
  • Mixing of iron filling and sand.

Chemical change :-

Change is a permanent change in which not physical properties but chemical properties also change. This is because a new substance is formed in a chemical change.

  • Burning of fuel.

  • Rusting of iron.
  • Cooking of food.
