Laboratory thermometer are used in Laboratory for measuring temperature of reactions .it can measure temperature from-10 celcius degree to 110celsius degree

Clinical thermometer are used by doctors or a person to determine the body temperature of aperson.it can measure temperature from 35 Celsius degree to 42 Celsius degree

Similarities Both thermometers are used to measure temperature and both of them use mercury. Differences Clinical thermometer is used to measure human body temperature whereas laboratory thermometer is used to measure temperature of other object which has higher temperature than human body temperature.
