State Snell's law of refraction of light.
When a ray of light travelling in air enters obliquely into a glass

ray but it is shifted sideways slightly. Draw a labelled ray diagram
to illustrate it.

Answer:

Snell's law states that the ratio of the sine of angle of incidence in the first medium to the sine of angle of refraction in the second medium is a constant for a given pair of media and for a given wavelength of light. This constant is called refractive index.
