HELLO FRND
__________

POSITIVE .

THER WORK IS POSITIVE WHEN THE DISPLACEMENT AND THE FORCE ACT In The same direction.

NAGATIVE.
________

SAME LIKE OPPOSITE DIRECTION BOTH ARE FORCE AND DISPLACEMENT Act in opposite direction so its nagative.

and some

if in some case the Force acts but there is no Displacement , the work=Force X 0

=0J

then work done is 0

1) If work done by a force is positive then the displacement and impact of the force will be positive. For eg:-If we throw a ball and it goes in the same direction as we want then the force will be considered as positive
2)If work is done by a force is negative then the displacement and the impact of force will be negative. For eg:-If we throw a ball and it goes in the opposite direction then the force will be considered as positive.

Hi guys negative work for the spring would be if we pull a spring downwards then and if we release it goes upwards I. e in the opposite direction then in this case the force will be negative.

HOPE THIS ANSWER HELPS.
